What percentage of the final home sale price do you charge?

The amount of commission depends on the circumstances and the property, and the marketing required in order to sell the home, as well as any additional services that we agree upon before entering into a listing contract. We will discuss this aspect thoroughly with you prior to entering into a listing agreement together. In general, the commission rate is approximately 6% however, as mentioned previously this can depend on some variables.

Do I need a real estate lawyer as well?

While we at Southern Dreams Team are both licensed REALTORS® and are highly trained professionals, if you feel that you need further explanation of contracts beyond what we provide, you are more than welcome to have a real estate lawyer review any contracts or paperwork before you sign it. While we are well-educated on the real estate process, as REALTORS® we are not lawyers and thus cannot give legal advice.

How will you find potential buyers/renters for my property?

Marketing is our specialty! While some agents are satisfied with slapping a sign in the front yard, and entering a property into the MLS [multiple listing service], we will go over the strategic marketing plan that we have created for your particular property. We have many techniques we can use to market your property, including but not limited to professional photography, video home tours, website features, social media marketing, open houses, using the MLS to feature your property on all available real estate websites, and quite a few other techniques.
